Project Timeline of Key Events

Below is a table containing the key milestones for the development of the AGP & MUGA from our current position all the way to the completion of the project. Dates are subject to change due to external factors. These dates will be updated if there are any changes to timeline.

June 2025
Commence Design and Planning Application Information

The spatially coordinated design builds on the conceptual detail and is based on further survey information. The design package which will support the full planning submission.

July 2025
Student Workshop

Students will explore the development of the AGP and MUGA, focusing on the benefits to the wider community and BHASVIC.

August 2025
Planning Submission

The project team will submit the planning application seeking consent from the Local Planning Authority to the development of the existing site to form the AGP & MUGA.

September 2025
Issue Contractor Tender

Project team will issue invitations to submit bids/proposals to carry out the construction of the AGP & MUGA.

28th November 2025
Planning Decision

Comments returned by the Local Planning Authority providing confirmation to continue with the project.

December 2025
Contractor Selection

The tenders will be assessed and the contract to build the AGP & MUGA will be awarded. The award decision will be based on cost competitiveness, contractor experience and reputation of the contractor as well as quality of previous works.

January 2026
Construction Commencement

The construction team will mobilise and work through a single construction sequence to complete the AGP & MUGA.

May 2026
Practical Completion

Both AGP & MUGA are completed and have undergone testing and commissioning phases ready for college and community usage.
